TomTom Go 740 Live: Feature Packed Sat Nav with State of the Art Interface
TomTom is a world leader in GPS devices. Here is yet another feature packed in car satellite navigator, the Go 740. This navigator comes with a weight of 224 gms and dimensions of 127 x 85 x 23 mm. The device consists of an LCD touch screen measuring 4.3 inches. This screen has a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. It is powered by a rechargeable battery which lasts for three hours. There is a receiver which is highly sensitive integrated with the antenna of the device. There is an in built 2GB flash memory and Go 740 has a slot for additional micro SD cards.

The TomTom Go 740 Live gives user detailed reports of incidents and suggests alternative routes and other real time traffic updates with the help of the HD traffic services. If there is a deviation the device calculates the alternate route instantly with the help of the IQ Route technology. There is a text to speech functionality that tells you the names of the junctions and roads. This way, users have a better control. This device can be operated with the help of voice commands as it has a speech recognition technology too.
Users are alerted in advance on the upcoming speed cameras en route. When you are stuck in a multiple lane, the device helps you choose the right lane with the help of the Lane Guidance feature. You can control the TomTom sat nav with the BlueTooth wireless remote control and also exchange data with other similar devices. This feature rich navigator comes with an active dock, a docking station and a CD ROM.
