The newly developed compound not only reduces the weight of the tyre but also reduces the amount of material used in building it. The increased wet adhesion drastically improves the tyre’s performance on a wet surface.

The design incorporates radial shoulder blading which gives it extra biting edges this in-turn enhances the grip and lateral stability. The longitudinal grooves are excellent for dispersing the water and boosting the resistance against aquaplaning. The design of the Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 195.60 R15 88V tyres also employs a 4 pitch sequence that dramatically reduces the noise frequency and minimises the noise levels. The solid centre ribs provide additional support in maintaining a straight plane and tremendously improve the dry handling.
