The ADVAN Neova AD07 represents the latest offering from Yokohama, and is the flagship of the company’s Extreme Performance Summer tyre range. It is specially developed to be used in sports car, sports coupe and performance sedan, an aspect that should encourage car enthusiast who love sport driving. The high point of the ADVAN Neova AD07 is that it is equally suitable for wet and dry roads and possesses high levels of traction, responsive handling, and makes for great control. It is interesting to note that it has been earlier used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on the Lotus Elise.
The ADVAN Neova AD07 utilises the much in demand Micro Silica (MS) tread compound so as to increase cornering stability and steering response while promoting more even wear. Five large circumferential and multiple directionally aligned lateral grooves are there as well that apart from preventing hydroplaning, augments wet traction.
Moreover, the tyre is specially structured to provide the necessary strength and uniform ride quality while ensuring high speed capability. It includes two wide steel belts supplemented by spirally wound nylon for the purpose. Then the sidewalls of the tyre are also taken proper care and are tuned to resist lateral deflection providing handling control and cornering stability.
Yokohama has carried out radical innovations and out of the box technology to develop the final product which is meant to provide you optimum service within a specific range of ambient temperatures. Like the other Advan summer tyres, including he Yokohama Advan ST, the Advan Neova AD07 must be properly stored. Therefore, the company has also clearly instructed users to use and store theses tyres at temperatures above -10 degrees Celsius, especially considering its compound characteristics.
