With the new lifestyle car named Soul, Kia wants to primarily attract younger buyers. The box-shaped five door is celebrating its premiere at the Motor Show in Paris (from October 4th-19th ) and is visually based on a the Trio concept car presented earlier this year. With its steep front grill, and the powerful modelled wheel guards, the hatchback limousine manages to strongly distinguish itself from the Korean manufacturer’s other car models. An extensive programme of accessories should offer buyers plenty of opportunities to personalize their car. A 1.6 litre petrol engine with 120 HP is envisioned as the Soul’s driving force. Prices have yet to be released.

This autumn, the high performance Bentley Continental Flying Spur will help to compliment the range of cars offered by the luxury limousine brand. The four door vehicle is propelled with a 449 kW/ 610 HP strong W12 petrol engine and manages an astounding top speed of 200 mph. The car should also manage zero to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. Compared to the standard model, the bodywork is one centimetre lower, the steering has been adjusted and the electronic stability programme engages later. In terms of appearance, the top speed version has a darkly tinted cooler grill, wider exhaust, and the word “Speed” written on the doorsteps. The pricing list starts at around £160,000.

The series is also undergoing an upgrade, parallel to the introduction of this new top-notch model. The upgrade includes small design changes on the front and rear, new window glass, and new insulation on the bottom that should help to drastically lower the amount of noise heard inside the car. Among other things, the stabilisers and shock-absorbers have also been reworked. The prices start at around £142,000 for the upgraded version.
