Clarion MAP 770: An Advanced and Intuitive GPS System
The Clarion MAP 770 GPS system is easily portable making it compatible to carry on all your trips abroad whether leisure or business. The Clarion MAP 770 In-Car GPS System weighs 200 grams and measures 130 x90 x20mm in size. This satellite navigator has a 4.3-inch LCD touch screen display, just like its sibling the Clarion MAP 680, that supports around 65000 colours. The touch screen has an anti glare reflective coating that provides a crystal clear view. The in car GPS system supports Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 platform, which is run on a CPU clocking 400 MHz. A 2 GB ROM Memory is included in the device. The memory can be enhanced with the help of SD or MMC external memory cards.
Headphones and connection for an USB interface is possible. The rechargeable battery that powers the portable satellite navigator provides 4.5 hours of battery life after every recharge. An internal antenna integrated with a SirfStar III 20 channel GPS receiver comes along with the unit. There is a slot for connecting an antenna externally.
With maps of 28 European nations included in the MAP 770 GPS System from Clarion, driving across Europe is so easy. A postcode search option helps you locate any place with ease. Maps can be viewed in both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional formats and has an automatic junction zoom. The automatic junction zoom helps calculate the route you want to cover and helps guide you and your vehicle through it. The Smart Zoom technology, which is incorporated in the unit, provides the facility to zoom in and out, as you approach a junction or a turn.
