Hi, I got the ICS171 for xmas and have only just installed it today 26/3/10.It worked first time for about 20 minutes then i removed it to fit the cage and it no longer works. Its like a bad connection because when you put the plugs together slightly the lights come on the unit but then it goes dead straight away. My old cd player works fine still.I took off both plugs (Wharfedale and car wiring loom) and jointed the wires to see if the plugs were to fault with no success.
Any ideas???
I bought the W - ICS182 and had it installed yesterday in my Kia Magentis. I have a long list of positives and negatives which I am not posting yet in case I get moderated !
To answer the question on the SD Card Reader, you have to open the front head unit, then you can insert the CD Disk or SD Card. Once you insert the Disk or Card, close the head unit, only then will it appear on the list of devices as you press the “Mode” button.
If you do not have any media inserted it will only show AUX or Radio.
I inserted a USB and CD Disk, so when pressing the Mode button, it showed and allowed me to select between AUX - USB - CD - Radio.
hey my bluetooth will not connect to me phone when in the car i have the ics182 and also how do i get my radio stations to stay tuned in after i switch the engine off can u get back to me asap thank you
Hi,
I have the ICS182, and I’d like to know how many wiring looms you received in the box.
I only received 2, and im missing the most important one coming from the stereo called the “16 pin to iso connector”.
Help?
Thank you..
